Online Classes

The Irish Government instructed all schools and colleges to temporarily close on 12th March. The government has subsequently announced that schools in Ireland will not be permitted to reopen until after the summer and students should attend an online course until this time.

For students who were were attending an Arena course on 12th March or due to start a course:

We are happy to inform you that from Monday 25th May Arena is increasing its live online classes to three hours per day (15 hours per week) in the morning and afternoon.

  • These live and fully interactive online classes will be taught by our experienced Arena teachers who will make these classes as close as possible to face to face courses. Teachers will plan and deliver classes making full use of the school’s extensive resources and materials, provide homework to students and monitor students’ progress.
  • The school will also be offering extra online activities including social activities and also student support services.
  • Students will require a laptop, tablet or phone, an internet connection and to download Zoom.

Non-EEA students who are still in Ireland and require their attendance should attend an online class. Non-EEA visa students who have left Ireland and do not require attendance can request a credit note for the remainder of their course.
